Danielle Newbery BOH (Adelaide)

Danielle Newbery, affectionately known as “Dee”, began her dental career back in 1997 as a Trainee Dental Assistant at the age of 16. Since then her passion for dentistry has taken her into many roles within the dental practice, most recently completing her Bachelor of Oral Health in 2008 from the University of Adelaide.

After graduation, Dee worked in specialist periodontal clinics, general practice and also in SADS where she looked after all aspects of children’s oral health. She was a clinical tutor at the University of Adelaide, in the dental hygiene clinics, which expanded her knowledge for complex periodontal treatments. Whilst post graduate courses took her into the world of advanced periodontics, Dee has never lost her skills with all aspects of paediatric and cosmetic dentistry, bringing her to have completed countless numbers of impressive chair side tooth whitening outcomes for her patients. Dee has a large patient following, but is always happy to meet new patients young and old.

Dee lives with her husband and 3 young children in Flaxley, in the Adelaide Hills, on a large family owned farm. She has a menagerie of animals including a pig named Truffles, Kenny the goat and a large number of chickens, which supplies a local food cart with fresh, free range eggs. On the days that she is not in the clinic, Dee is on the Board of Directors for Libby Ruge Smile Fund, a not for profit organisation that helps pay the full cost of dental rehabilitation to young adults.
